This page explains the return, exchange and right-of-withdrawal terms for orders placed through tavladunyasi.com or by WhatsApp, phone or email. These terms apply under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts.
Right of withdrawal
For in-stock items that have not been made especially for you, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, without giving any reason. You may also cancel before the item is delivered.
Items excluded from the right of withdrawal
By law, items made to your specifications or personal requirements are not covered by the right of withdrawal (Regulation on Distance Contracts, Art. 15/1-b). These include:
- Items with a name, signature, monogram, logo, custom pattern, photo or image applied
- Items made in a size, colour, material or design chosen by you
- Items designed entirely for you
For these items, production starts only after we have agreed the design and personalisation details with you in writing and received your approval. Your rights regarding defective goods still apply to personalised items (see below).
How to withdraw

Please include your name, your order (item and order date) and the IBAN of the bank account for the refund. We will confirm in writing that we have received your request.
Returning the item
- Send the item back to the address below within 14 days of your withdrawal notice.
- You may use any carrier, with shipping paid by us; you will not be charged for return shipping.
- Pack the item with its checkers, dice, case, box and all accessories so that it is protected in transit. Use the original packaging where possible.
- You are not responsible for changes resulting from inspecting the item in line with its function and intended use.

Refunds
Within 14 days of the item reaching us, we will refund the full amount we collected, including any delivery charge, in a single payment, using a method appropriate to your original payment and at no cost to you. Bank transfer payments are refunded to the bank account you provide.
For international shipments, customs duties, taxes and import charges are paid by the buyer directly to the relevant authorities and are not collected by us, so they are not covered by the refund.
Exchanges
If you would prefer to exchange the item for another one within the withdrawal period, please contact us. Exchanges depend on the availability of the requested item; any price difference will be confirmed separately.
Damaged or defective items
On delivery: Check the package when you receive it. If it is crushed, torn or wet, ask the courier to prepare a damage report and send us photos on the same day.
Defective items: If an item has a manufacturing or material defect, you are entitled to withdraw from the contract, a price reduction, free repair or replacement with a non-defective item (Law No. 6502, Art. 11). These rights can be exercised within 2 years of delivery and also apply to personalised items.
Natural variations in wood grain and colour, and small differences resulting from handcraft, are part of the nature of the product and are not defects. Damage caused by use contrary to the care instructions, dropping, impact, excessive heat or humidity is not covered as a defect.
Cancelling an order
- In-stock items: You can cancel before the item is shipped; your payment will be refunded within 14 days. Once shipped, the right of withdrawal terms apply.
- Personalised items: We will consider cancellation requests made before the design is approved and production starts. Once production has started, the right of withdrawal does not apply.
