Distance Sales Agreement

This page contains the pre-contractual information form and the distance sales agreement that apply to product sales made by Tavla Dünyası via WhatsApp, phone, email or the website. Details specific to your order (product, price, delivery address and time) are set out in the order summary sent to you separately before payment; the order summary forms an integral part of this agreement.

Part 1 — Pre-Contractual Information Form

2. Main characteristics of the product

The product's name, code, materials, dimensions and any personalisation details are stated on the product page and in the order summary. Products involving handcraft and natural wood may show natural variations in colour, grain and small details.

3. Price and payment

• Product prices are in Turkish lira and include all taxes. The total amount of your order is stated in the order summary.
• Shipping within Türkiye is free. For international shipments, the shipping fee is stated in the order summary; customs duties, taxes and import charges are borne by the buyer.
• Payment is made by bank transfer (EFT) to the bank account stated in the order summary.
• Foreign currency equivalents shown on the website are for information only; sales are made in Turkish lira.

4. Delivery

• The product is shipped by courier to the delivery address stated in the order summary.
• In-stock products are generally delivered within 5–15 days and personalised products within 10–30 days of payment being confirmed. The time for your order is stated in the order summary; for products that are not personalised, it cannot exceed 30 days.

5. Right of withdrawal

• For products not made especially for you, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty. You may also withdraw before delivery.
• It is sufficient to send your withdrawal notice in writing within this period to destek@tavladunyasi.com or to our WhatsApp line +90 539 690 02 81.
• Within 14 days of your notice, you return the product to our address above with any courier, with shipping paid by us. As we have not designated a courier for returns, you will not be charged for return shipping.
• The full amount you paid, including the delivery fee, will be refunded within 14 days of the product reaching us, using a method appropriate to your payment and at no cost to you.

6. Cases where the right of withdrawal does not apply

There is no right of withdrawal for products prepared according to your requests or personal needs — products with a name, signature, monogram, logo, custom pattern, photo or image applied, and products made in a size, colour, material or design determined at your request (Regulation on Distance Contracts, Art. 15(1)(b)). The order summary clearly states whether your order falls into this category.

7. Complaints and objections

You can send your complaints to us through the contact channels above. In the event of a dispute, you may apply to the consumer arbitration committee at your place of residence or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits set each year by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, and to the consumer courts for disputes exceeding those limits.

Part 2 — Distance Sales Agreement

Article 1 — Parties

Buyer: The person whose name, address and contact details are stated in the order summary.

Article 2 — Subject

The subject of this agreement is to set out the rights and obligations of the parties, in accordance with Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, regarding the sale and delivery of the product ordered by the Buyer from the Seller by means of distance communication, whose characteristics and sale price are stated in the order summary.

Article 3 — Conclusion of the agreement

The Buyer confirms in writing that they have read the pre-contractual information form in Part 1 and this agreement and have checked the information in the order summary. The agreement is concluded when this confirmation reaches the Seller. The Seller sends the agreement and the order summary to the Buyer on a durable medium (PDF, email or WhatsApp).

Article 4 — Product, price and payment

The main characteristics of the product, the quantity, the sale price including taxes, any shipping fee and the payment details are set out in the order summary. Payment is made by bank transfer (EFT). For personalised products, production begins after the Buyer approves the design in writing and payment is made.

Article 5 — Delivery

• The product is delivered by courier to the stated address within the time stated in the order summary. For products that are not personalised, the delivery time cannot exceed 30 days from the date the order reaches the Seller.
• Handing the product to the courier does not count as delivery to the Buyer. The Seller is responsible for any loss or damage until the product is delivered to the Buyer.
• The Buyer checks the package on delivery; if it is crushed, torn or wet, the Buyer has the courier prepare a damage report and informs the Seller.
• If delivery of the product becomes impossible for any reason, the Seller informs the Buyer within 3 days of learning of this and refunds all payments received within 14 days at the latest.

Article 6 — Right of withdrawal

• For products not made especially for the Buyer, the Buyer may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty. The right of withdrawal may also be exercised before delivery.
• The withdrawal notice is given to the Seller in writing (email or WhatsApp) within the withdrawal period. The Seller confirms receipt of the notice to the Buyer.
• Within 14 days of the notice, the Buyer sends the product, together with all accessories, to the Seller's address. The Seller has not designated a courier for returns; the Buyer is not charged for return shipping.
• Within 14 days of the product reaching the Seller, the Seller refunds all payments received, including the delivery fee, in a single payment, using a method appropriate to the Buyer's payment and at no cost to the Buyer.
• The Buyer is not responsible for changes resulting from inspecting the product in line with its function, technical characteristics and intended use.

Article 7 — Exception to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for products prepared according to the Buyer's requests or personal needs (products with a name, signature, monogram, logo, custom pattern, photo or image applied, and products made in a size, colour, material or design determined at the Buyer's request) (Regulation on Distance Contracts, Art. 15(1)(b)). This is also stated in the order summary.

Article 8 — Defective products

If the product is defective, the Buyer may exercise one of the following rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6502: withdrawal from the contract, a price reduction, free repair, or replacement with a non-defective equivalent. These rights may be exercised within 2 years of delivery and also apply to personalised products. Natural variations in wood grain and colour and small differences resulting from handcraft are not defects; damage caused by the Buyer, such as use contrary to the care instructions, dropping, impact, excessive heat or humidity, is not covered as a defect.

Article 9 — Personal data

The Buyer's personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Notice for the purpose of concluding and performing the agreement.

Article 10 — Dispute resolution

This agreement is governed by Turkish law. In disputes, the consumer arbitration committees at the Buyer's place of residence or where the transaction took place have jurisdiction within the monetary limits set each year by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, and the consumer courts have jurisdiction for disputes exceeding those limits.

Article 11 — Entry into force
