Story

A Scream Brought to Life in Wood

This special backgammon set with a “Scream” theme conveys human pain, entrapment and the search for freedom through a striking carved wood design. The human figure struggling amid the flames merges with the curving, flame-like lines of the wood to create a powerful visual narrative.

Every carved detail reflects the movement of the fire and the tense atmosphere of the scene. Both eerie and striking, the design gives the board an artistic character that takes it beyond an ordinary game piece.

Natural Walnut and a Distinctive Playing Surface

The body of the backgammon board is made of walnut. The inner playing surface uses symmetrically arranged walnut burl. The natural grain and characteristic patterns of the wood give the playing area a rich, distinctive look.

The inner edges are sloped. This design reduces dice getting stuck along the edges, helping play continue more comfortably. Dedicated compartments for checkers and dice keep the accessories neatly stored and easy to reach.

Concealed German Hinges

Three first-class concealed German hinges help join the two halves of the board securely. The concealed design preserves the integrity of the exterior while aiming to make opening and closing easier.

Surface Protection with Hardwax Oil

The surface of the board is finished with hardwax wood oil, which helps preserve the natural look of the wood and increase its durability. This finish brings out the texture of the wood while helping protect the surface against daily use.

A Distinctive Design for Play and Collecting

With its deep carved details, the texture of natural walnut and its strong artistic theme, the “Scream” backgammon set brings traditional game culture together with an unconventional design. It is an eye-catching choice for those interested in artistic backgammon models, collectors and anyone looking for a different gift.
